Kiira sat on the beach thinking of the past days events. It all seemed so unreal to her. The Rebel queen didn't mix or even match up well with one of the Kings, the rulers of the guy part of the school. But somehow, she was starting to, and she was starting to like Chase Danvers as well. The whole thing freaked her out just a bit. Kiira had spent her life trying to avoid guys such as him for they were handsome and had the big ego to along with it. It didn't even help that she had made such a bad first impression on the guy after tripping in class, and then asking the teacher if she was serious about making them work together on a two week long project. She had pretty much told the whole class that he was usless and wouldn't work anyway. Which, she had believed true at one point. But they had went out on the London Eye last night to take pictures from up there with the sun setting. He had arranged a capsule to only be for them. And it was totally romantic. Not to mention he even seemed interested in asking questions about her step brother. She had never even spoke about her family to anyone besides her best friend Alex until then. All in all, the night was perfect, and he was perfect. She couldn't get over his messy hair, and his golden brown eyes. He was just gorgeous.

Then Kiira remembered, she had come to the beach to stop thinking about him. Though she knew it wasn't even possible. Ever since the class that was the only person she could bring herself to think of, well actually the only thing she could bring herself to think of. And that made her mad, she wasn't suppose to be liking him. It was becoming even more then a crush type of liking to him. It was becoming, oh well, she didn't have the right words for it.

Shaking her head, she laid down on her towel. It wasn't even like her to be at the beach in an actual bathing suit! What was wrong with her? She couldn't even begin to figure it out, and she wasn't sure she wanted to figure it out either but she knew it all went back to Chase. Damn him to for it. Sighing she closed her eyes and wished that someone would find her so she didn't have to keep thinking of Chase, or she was liable to go nuts

Jay wandered down towards the beach, a fag in his hand and singing quite loudly. As far as he knew there was no-one around, so he didn't mind singing loudly. He had the song from the TV show X factor stuck in his head, the one the winners had sung, and so was singing it. His voice was pretty damn good, apart from the slight damage to it caused by smoking. Evening was falling across the beach, and it was Jay's favourite time of day. It was still a fairly warm day, and so Jay just had a tight t shirt on, showing how thin he was. For some reason he'd forgotten his wristbands, and was half hoping he didn't meet anyone, as all the scars, and several slightly fresher cuts were visible. Below the waste, he wore slightly more unusual beach attire, skinny jeans and VANS slip-ons.

Jay took a drag on his cigarette and launched into the second verse and chorus:

He wandered over the top of the hill and suddenly spotted someone. He wasn't sure who it was, beacause he could only see her from behind. He was stuck in this weird place in his mind, where he wasn't sure whether t approach this person and draw attention to himself, or just stay in the shadow. In the end he decided on the latter; if she'd heard him she'd probably turn around. He took another drag on the cigarette, tip glowing red in the fading light, and he waited.
